Concrete and brick pavers act like sponges, which is why they are hard to clean and why neglect ends in cracking and pitting. We wash the slab, then seal it with a topical sealer for exposed aggregate and stamped concrete, or a penetrating one that builds a barrier against moisture. Clean and reseal every two to three years and it costs far less than pouring a new driveway.

Not the one-size-fits-all wash. Technicians carry more than one deck cleaner, so wood gets a wood cleaner and composite gets a composite cleaner, each with an algaecide, because algae and moss are what make a deck slippery. A clean deck is also ready for a stain or sealer.

Roofs are soft washed at low pressure, because too much water pressure damages shingles. Asphalt, clay, slate and metal all come clean of the black streaks mold, algae and moss leave behind, and gutters get cleared of what the trees dropped.
